NEW SYBIL VOICE RESPONSE SYSTEM

The new and improved Sybil is now available for our Linux credit unions.

OVERVIEW

The new Sybil consists of a board that is installed in a PC on your network.  Up to 4 separate phone lines can be plugged into this board, giving you the ability to have more then one Sybil.

The 'New' Sybil board and old Sybil Dectalk unit can both be used at the same time.  

COST

• SYBIL LICENSE FEE - One time charge of $1995 per port (phone line) activated
• SYBIL BOARD (order info below) - Approximately $500 (as of 5/20/2006)

PC REQUIREMENTS

You can install the Sybil board in any PC on your system as long as it meets the following requirements:

• Pentium 4
• Minimum 1 gig of memory
• Minimum 40 gig available hard drive space
• 1 open/empty pci slot per 4 port Sybil card
• CDRom drive
• MUST have static IP address
• Windows XP or Windows 2000 operating system
• PC speakers

SYBIL BOARD

You need to order (or have your installer order) a Sybil board and have it installed in an existing PC on your network, or a PC purchased for this purpose.

The board is D4PCIUF.   We suggest contacting TrueData. They stock "at least a hundred at a time" given their popularity in the telephony world. Shipping is typically 2 to 3 days.  Phone number is 888-431-5575.

DO NOT INSTALL THE SOFTWARE CD THAT COMES WITH THE BOARD!

Lightning protectors are suggested for each telephone line connected to the board.

BEFORE INSTALLING SYBIL BOARD

Contact Mike at ERS.  He will provide you with the required software, and installation instructions.

AFTER INSTALLATION

Contact Mike on extension 111 to do the following:

• Activate the new Sybil ports

• Kill any old Sybils that are no longer active

ADDED SECURITY

• Sybil users will now be required to enter their account number, password and the last 4 digits of their Social Security Number to get access to their account.
