When you install EZ-Term it will automatically install with the proper defaults.  Very rarely will any changes to the SETUP need to be made.  Before making any changes not specified below contact ERS for advise.

The Setup button is located on the Toolbar at the top of the EZ-Term window.

Profile - Typically, EZ-Term will install with the correct Profile settings as shown below.  If you should have a problem see EZ-Term TROUBLESHOOTING AND FAQs

Printers - This window lets you choose which printer to use when printing documents and screen prints.  

Click on Change and choose the printer you wish to use, or check Prompt for Printer when Printing to have Windows display the printer window for you to select a printer each time you press the F9, F10 or Print Screen keys.

Form Feed after Printing causes the printer to print only one screen display per page.  To have multiple displays print continuously on one piece of paper uncheck this box.

General - This option is used to set up EzMemo notification or to make misc. changes suggested by Mike from ERS.

Video Text Padding is used by EZ-Term programmer only.

Beep on new EZ-Memo Messages will cause the PC to beep 3 times if you receive a Memo while the program is minimized.

Flash Taskbar on New EX-Memo Messages will cause the taskbar (at the bottom of your PC screen) to flash if you receive a Memo when you have EZ-Term minimized.

Load Profile - Not used by Credit Union.  Installation will automatically load your profile in Windows for you.  There is no need to use this option.

Save Profile - Not used by Credit Union.  Installation will automatically save your profile in Windows for you.  There is no need to use this option.

Save Profile as - Not used by Credit Union.  Installation will automatically save your profile in Windows for you.  There is no need to use this option.

Run Current Settings - Not used by Credit Union.

Run Default Settings on Startup - This option should be checked.

Change Setup Password - Allows you to set up an Administrator Password or change an existing password which is required to access the Setup features.  

Check for EZ-Term Update - if an update to the software is available at the time you log onto EZ-Term, you will be advised and given the option to update at that time.  You should ALWAYS say Yes to update to the latest version.   You also have the option of clicking on this button at any time to check to see if an update is available.
