FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS ORDER ONLY

SET TOP OF FORM FOR REAR FEED PAPER

Loading Continuous Forms (Rear Feed)

1. Move the paper lever forward to the position marked REAR.
2. Grasp the paper separator by the tabs and lift it off the printer.
3. Pull up on the lock levers and open the tractor covers, then move the right tractor over to fit the width of the paper.  (Push the left hand tractor to the right until it stops then lock into position).
4. Place the first two holes in the paper over the tractor pins on either side and close the tractor covers.  NOTE:  An equal number of paper holes must be engaged on either tractor in order to ensure that the paper will feed properly.
5. Push the FF/LOAD button.  The paper feeds into the printer.

Setting the Top of Form (TOF)

1. Make sure the printer is deselected (SEL light off).  If the SEL light is on, press the SEL button to turn it off.

2. Press and hold SHIFT, then
• Press LF to move Top of Form higher (paper moves down in increments)
• Continue pressing the LF button until the form stops.
3. Press SEL button to select the printer, top of form is now set.  
4. Press the PARK button to move the paper out of the printer.

SET TOP OF FORM FOR TOP FEED (SINGLE CHECKS)

Loading single checks (Top Feed)

1. Make sure the printer is on and deselected (SEL light off).
2. Place the paper lever in the position marked TOP.
3. Grasp the back of the paper separator and swing it up into the sheet feed position making sure that the wire feed guide is nestled in the separator.
4. The Left Paper Feed Guide will need to be Pushed to the Right until it stops.  Adjust the Right Paper Feed Guide for the width of the check.

Setting the top of Form (TOF)

1. Make sure the printer is deselected (SEL light off).  If the SEL light is on, press the SEL button to turn it off.
2. When setting the Top of Form, use the red line on the paper shield as a reference:  Align the red line with the middle of the check number preprinted on your checks.

Press and hold SHIFT then

Press LF to move Top of Form higher (paper moves down in increments)

OR

Press FF/LOAD to move Top of Form lower (paper moves up)

3. Press SEL button to select the printer, top of form is now set.
4. Press the PARK button to move the paper out of the printer.

Setting Printer Driver in Zterm

1. Type XATTR.
• Press ENTER to move to Printer catagory.
• Use the UP or DOWN arrow to indicate OKI320T then press ENTER.
• Press ESC 2 times to return to the main password screen.
2. Type XCHECK.
• Under voucher heading, move cursor to the T field, input A.
• Under check printer, move cursor to the T field, input L.

Changing Printer Internal Settings:

Menu Mode:  Control Panel

GROUP:  Prints the next group in the Menu. With the SHIFT  key, prints the previous Group.

ITEM:  Prints next Item in the Group.  With the SHIFT key, prints the previous Item in the Group.

SET:  Prints next Setting for an Item.  With the SHIFT key, prints previous setting for an Item.

PRINT:  Prints a copy of all the Menu settings.  With the SHIFT key, prints the current settings for the Group selected.

MENU light:  Glows when the printer is in the Menu Mode.

Entering and Exiting the Menu Mode

To Enter or exit the Menu Mode, hold SHIFT while pressing SEL

Printing the Menu Settings

• Make sure paper is loaded in the printer.
• Press PRINT (PARK key).
• Once printed remove this sheet from the printer.

COMPARE YOUR SHEET TO THE FOLLOWING: 

NOW THAT YOU HAVE THE FACTORY SETTINGS IN FRONT OF YOU THE FOLLOWING ITEMS NEED TO BE CHANGED:

NOTE:  You may want to highlight on the factory printout whih items need to be changed.

 Changing the Menu Settings

1. Press SHIFT + SEL to enter the Menu Mode.
2. Use the GROUP,ITEM and SET keys to make your changes:

Press GROUP until the Group you wish to change appears in the first column.

Press ITEM until the Item you wish to change appears in the second column.

Press SET until the setting you want appears in the third coiumn.

3. Press SHIFT + SEL to exit the Menu Mode and save your settings.

Use the following information when making the required changes.

Important!  If you turn the printer off without first exiting the Menu Mode, the changes you have made will be lost.

4. Press the PARK button to back the paper out of the printer.
5. Turn the printer off.
